Road linking NH-8 to Dwarka Expressway to be widened (03/Sep/2018)
A proposal has been prepared to widen the two-lane road connecting Dwarka Expressway to NH-8 into a six-lane signal-free road, along with the widening of the existing railway bridge at Basai into a six-lane bridge, with a construction of an underpass at Khandsa. The project is estimated to complete in 9-12 months with an estimated cost of Rs 80.75 crore.
The PM lays the foundation stone for IICC, Dwarka (20/Sep/2018)
PM Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for IICC, Dwarka, a 90-hectare global convention and exhibition centre for private sector with an estimate to be a $280 billion business annually in India, and will feature 3 five-star hotels, 4 four-star hotels, 2 three-star hotels and serviced apartments, with parking planned for 30,000 vehicles.
National Cancer Institute to be launched in NCR (23/Sep/2018)
The All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) has declared to launch National Cancer Institute (NCI), based in Jhajjar, and it will be operational by the coming December. The 710-bed institute is currently recruiting for manpower, with all the equipment in place and additional funding and resources being provided by the government.
Dwarka Expressway Commenced by NHAI and L&T
NHAI awarded L&T with one of the five packages of Rs 7,500 crore Dwarka Expressway project in Haryana, commencing the execution of the eight-lane expressway from Basai RoB to NH-8 SPR intersection.
Although the project had been delayed for a while it has picked up a lot of pace in the recent time making it one of the best places to invest in and live around. With its close proximity to the IGI airport and the connectivity it provides from Delhi to Gurgaon it will make the area a commercial hub for investors and residents alike with a surge in the quality of infrastructure alongside it.
